Spek SR3100 vs SR3500

Hello

Is there any significant difference between the Spektrum SR3100 and the SR3500. I notice they both weigh 6 grams. (I am after a micro receiver to replace my SR3000)

I am thinking of going for the SR3500 - It sounds better:D Although the SR3100 is cheaper.

Just partially answering my own question:confused::)

Size is slightly different
SR3500 is
1.06 x .78 x .48 inches

SR3100 is
85 x 1.30 x .48 inches

isn't the SR3500 designed for the DX3 with a lower latency rate, if it is, give Horizon Hobbies an email to see if it is backward compatible to the older Pro series modules, thats the difference.

Thanks for the feedback - off to get in touch with them.

Thanks again:D

yeah, i think the SR3500 and SR3001 are the pro series recievers (lower latency), and the SR3100 is the older version

The newer, cheaper one with DSM2 written on it is not backwards compatible. It also has a hideously long antenna which you can't shorten as the last 1 3/4 inches are the receiving bit.

If you have a DX3R you can run all Spektrum receivers, if you have the older normal or pro versions you have to stick with the non-DSM2 receivers.
