30 inch brushless boat project
 

here is a project ive been doing for the past 2 weeks , its a 30 inch nqd hydroplane which ive completly stripped out and doing a brushless conversion .
ive removed all the motors and both shafts
ive fitted a 100amp water cooled esc ,alloy motor mount , traxxas waterproof servo and rudder
it also has twin water cooling for the motor and esc and bronze prop
ive got a 2000kv motor and 330mm flexishaft on its way which is all thats needed to start the testing
here are a few pics it still needs the paint job finishing off which i will do tomorrow

Looks good mate, been trying to upgrade a cheap surfboader to brushless myself
Always nice to rebuild upgrade models takes you back to what modelling is all about looking good:thumbsup:
Did brushless upgrade cost you alot ? What rx you gonna be using?

the motor and water cooling jacket was only £39.99
the 100 amp esc was £18.00 from hk

im using a flysky 2.4ghz one im just going to stick it in a ballon to waterproof it haha
