Charity Midnight Walk - Overgate Hospice.

The oOple red shirt crew are now getting together to fundraise for a different cause (the red shirt crew don't know this yet, but I'm working on it).
At midnight on September 8th this year we'll join in Overgate Hospice's annual midnight walk to raise money towards the running costs of the hospice.
They rely very heavily on charitible donations and need to raise over £5000 per day to cover their costs. Only one quarter of their service is funded by the NHS.

Please help us to raise money for this cause by sparing any loose change, donating online at www.justgiving.com/overgate2012

Even easier - you can always donate by text,
send the code: DMWU83
Followed by your chosen amount: £....
to: 70070

Thank you, we really appreciate it.
So far we have oOple founder Jimmy and Vicky oOple, RHR manager James Helliwell, oOple Invernational race control boss John Price, retired oOple Dickhead Stu Evans, RHR dirt track builder extraordinaire Steve Pierce, as well as some of my work colleagues joining us. Awaiting confirmation of more sign-ups too :)

We are really grateful for any donations :)

Thankyou,

The oOple Team

I guess you must all be waiting until the day to donate eh? Well it's tonight, and team oOple will be there in force. Please donate to this great cause if you can no matter how small.

Thanks,

G

Well we all completed the walk last night - well done to everyone.
James Helliwell took TQ and win, finishing the very hilly 13 mile route in just short of 2 hrs.
John Price and Steve Pierce took 2nd and 3rd, finishing at around 3hrs 20 min.
The rest of the oOple crew and nurse team rolled in at around 4 hrs with a variety of blisters, aching joints, and very tired heads.

The walk was great as always to participate in and the Hospice crew always make sure there are some gruelling hills thrown in the mix.
Please, please, please sponsor us - www.justgiving.com/overgate2012
If not online then try to seek one of us out at the F345 finals next weekend.

Your support is greatly appreciated and will contribute towards the running costs of an amazing hospice. It'll make our aches and pains feel just a little bit more worthwhile too :) Cheers everyone

And if that hasn't convinced you all, then take pity on oOple Master Jimmy - this is the first time in 5 years that I have convinced him to join the charity effort, and he doesn't look like he'll be ready for another fundraiser in a hurry...
