b44.1 1st time setup servo probs
hi all,
just setting up my my b44.1 for the first time, got the motor in and the esc, but when i got to the servo it does not fit properly, it doesn't fit properly as is it sits too close to the steering arm which rubs against the servo when turning, i have fitted it as the instruction book, i am using hitech servos as this is all i have from my 1/8 buggy, do i need to use a different servo? drilling two new holes about 8mm back seems the easier option to me or would this weaken the chassis too much? is there an easy fix or a trick or two that people use? cheers rob. |
You used to be able to use any servo in the B44 but the mounting was moved in the B44.1 I know Savox catch and Futaba don't.
People have also told me that the holes in the B44.1 are not consistent. |
Yup, I had this trouble with a Savox in my B44.1. I used a Dremel to grind down the plastic till it worked without rubbing
