The flat strights it has plenity of power,I have checked the slipper and its fine the diff is ok could it be a heating issue ?I have a 10.5 sensored motor 120amp Esc 76/26 gearing was running 80/24 and no problems also have a 78 spur but is that the problem?????

Don’t know what esc you run but if you can turn up the punch this should be an improvement. If not try an 8.5 turn motor my son has run one of these with a gearing of 76/27 without any problems, but always check your temperature after you change gearing. Hope this helps.

It's hobbywing and yes I can turn up the punch but it's a short track so they say a 10.5 is plenty, it rained today so tomrow will give it a go.

Hi there,

I guess i'm having the same issue with my cougar sv.
I'm also running a 10.5T motor cause i also driving on a small indoor offroad track.

But my guess is that it seems that i'm having some problems with my ball diff to work correctly.
I've build it correctly but everytime after 1 run my car isn't able to take jumps anymore.
Are those diff rings supposed to be spinning or not? I did put on some anti wear grease from tamiya cause it makes the diff rings stick better to the diff outdrives, but still my car isn't able to put the power on to the wheels wich means that my car is unable to take jumps.
What can i do to prevent this problem?

Is the circlip the right way round, and is it tight? Rebuild the diff and follow Simon's guide, if the Circlip rotates, replace it.
