Centro gearbox too tight
 

Hi, does anybody have any advice on why the gearbox is tight when all screws are tightened (not over tightened btw)? It's fine when I back them off but can't work out what is causing it and wondered if it's was a common issue? Thanks, Alex

Check the layshaft spacing - there should be a little end float.

If you're not sure, take out the layshaft and leave all the other gears and diff in and re-seal. You can then check if everything else spins freely.
