SP v Orca

I am tangled between a speed passion v3 motor or an orcsa rx2...

Which do you prefer?

Any help welcome:)

Orca Sam, had loads, never any problems. Nice well build units. That's what's in my B44.1 last night

Just remembered I have a SP3 motor in Adam's C4.1, stock motor. Think APEX had a good deal on an ESC/Motor Combo. Drop Richard a line, tell him I sent you :)

Totally agree with ORCA...one of the best RC products to come out of Japan

Dudders 03-08-2012 11:21 AM

Hey make decent whales as well!

Naushad 03-08-2012 11:45 AM

Oh, they also used to produce decent (but expensive) 12" vinyl tunes...

Check out 4am by ORCA. classic old skool hardcore from '93!

orca is 1 hell of a wale

Craig W 03-08-2012 11:58 AM

the big question is why is there hardly any running orca in uk as they are massive in europe

MattW 03-08-2012 12:01 PM

I would be very surprised if the ORCA and SP are made by different OEM's. While it's very possible that they are to different specs, I believe they are made in the same place.

orca esc in made by themselves all in house
not a re branded product
and they are made in asia

The OP's question was relating to motors, hence that's what I was referring to. I know the speedo isn't a re-badge of something else!

MattW 03-08-2012 09:22 PM

Yup, also made at the same OEM. As were the old GM's, and the very old Orions.
