Gold shocks for original Ultima
 

Hi all,

I want to fit gold shocks on my Ultima restore as the plastic collars on the red stock Ultima shocks break when I look at them. I know pargu does red alloy collars but I think gold shocks would be a better choice and look better too.

What length of front/rear shocks do I need? Same as Optima mid? Also will they just bolt on or do I need a new rear shock tower?

You need new shocktowers in the rear and front. Unless perhaps you want to use short shocks in the rear too.
Myself I like using the losi-pro se front shock tower, but then you need M sized shocks in the front rather than S-sized.

The shocktowers you need are the black epaoxy ones of the pro and turbo models
