do kyosho springs fit straight onto b4.1 or do you need different shock tops and bottoms:confused:

They fit straight on unless you are refering to Big Bore Kyosho springs where you will need a collar

As Tony says, the standard ones fit straight on and don't seem to rub on the shock bodies like the Associated ones often seem to do. Not sure if they are very slightly larger (inside diameter) or just keep their shape better but I much prefer.:thumbsup:

Sorry for "stealing" your thread, but just need to ask if there's a comparison chart which includes the big bore springs.

Would like to see the difference in rating between standard Associated, Losi big bore and Kyosho big bore :)

It's not possible to compare small bore springs to BB sprigs 1:1.
Mr. Cav said the KYO BB yellow front/ KYO BB white rear is the closest to the standard AE silver/ green setup.
I tried the Losi BB(yellow rear/ green front), KYO(white rear/yellow front) and they both felt pretty close to the stock setup.
AVID's work good too, purple front/ yellow rear. Just seems a bit soft for me.
