Ansmann X2C Kick Up Plate

I have two front kick up plates both 1250000407 but the strengthening at the front if different. One is a solid block as shown in the manual and the other has two ribs. Which is the correct one? I assume the solid one is stronger?

Yes, the solid one is the stronger.
Here a photo.

The one i have in my car is the one on the left. The plate I have just bought as a spare is different again to the two in your photo. Less thickening. I will try and post a photo.

Which is the one to use left or right?

As you look at the picture now, the one on the right is the stronger one, HOWEVER if the new one you have recieved is the latest evolution of it then that is the strongest one

I'd suggest the one with just 2 small ribs is the very old one - 2 years old - broke a few of those in the early days
As said, use the solid block.

The one on the right looks even thicker all the way to the steering bearings. JL where did that come from?

Thats good then as that one on the right is the one that came with my kit and even my spare is that one too. Didnt know they had changed them so had to go have a look.

the one with the webbing is a earlyer part, and was prone to snapping, the solid one is an uprated part.

Hello,
I use the right ones. It is strongest. I have no problem with it.
Also i use a two long screws and both pass across the chasis, and in the opposite side i use a nut to fix them.

Your question is, where i purchase the part?
I'm sorry but i don't speak english very well.

Model shop has sent me another plate and it's the one on the left! seems to be the one that is readily available.

The one on the left is a very old revision, there has been a couple of newer revisions and at least two different hop-up versions (kevlar and CF), at least for TeamC.

The latest one has a screw between the steering bearings that attaches to a new top plate with a place for the screw.

I've been running the newest for some time no, has not broken yet. Seems to be the strongest one of the different versions (including the hop-up versions), at least it has been for my crashes so far.

Yes they are much stronger than the original, and you can order stuff from SMD direct, or your local shop will be able to obtain it for you ;-)
