sc10 4x4 steering

anyone else had any problems with the steering not going to it's full potential because of the ball cup catching the steering mechanism on the right hand side viewed from the rear of the truck? on their sc10 4x4?
think it may need to be dremmel time

I have my steering turned down to about 60%, loads of steering.

BeachBuggyPhil 13-07-2012 06:51 PM

Oh, and nothing fouls or catches at all.

Not had any problems myself, loads of steering.

Yes thats exacty where it seems to catch, when the ball cup twists to a certain point it catches

Have you checked everything is fitted correctly and the right way round? I've never had a problem.
I have the same servo in my B4 and the design of the 4x4 steering seems to give amazingly quick steering, it's a very impressive set u and makes the B4 really show its age.

Do you have the ball cup fitted on the ball correctly? Inserted the ball on the curved side of the cup?

Mine is nowhere near catching on full lock either direction with no weight on the suspension.
