Help please painting fist shell
 
Hi just wondered if you can use auto car paint sprayed into the airbrush jar. First time to spray so all help is welcome.

I'm not so sure if that would work, I think it would spray on ok but them sorts of paint don't have the flexibility/adhesion to the plastic of the paints that are for polycarbonate, I'm pretty sure they would just flake off as soon as the body was used

Hi mate its hard enough when starting off to get things right so dont make things harder for yourself ,buy some proper airbrush paint water based or the smelly stuff,and practice on anything old bits of lexan plastic bottles ect wash em out first ,then go for it on your shell its all about practice and preperation :thumbsup:

In most cases, car paints in aerosol form is celluose based paint so it will not be suitable unfortunately. Water based paints such as createx & faskolor are the way to go, contact Jon at RCS mate he'll point you in the right direction :)
