Does the Team Orion Vortex R10 Pro have reverse?
 

Hi all,

Ive searched around all the predominant online retailers and alot of the sites differ in whether it does or doesnt have reverse. Its going to go into a losi 22 and I dont want to order it and find it doesnt. The last place I phoned (Where im considering ordering it from) wasnt sure to begin with but then checked the orion site and he said confidently that it did have, but I figured if I could find someone whose actually running in it reverse, then what more proof would I need?

Anyone running her with a reverse mode?

They do have reverse in the settings, although you may need the setting box to activate it. (I've never tried)

Hi, yes the Vortex R10 does have reverse feature. It's a great speedo.

If your looking for one, I'll be puting one up for sale on here this evening.

Theres some really good offers around on brand new units currently including the tuning box and now it has reverse has sealed the deal for me.

bit of a strange question, but does the esc come with the fan and the carbon case? as its being sold sepearately but its not clear if its included when you buy the ESC and tuning box bundle?

I brought this speedo combination the other week and yes it came with the fan, programming box and leads.

Shaun, IT COMES AS EITHER THE SPEEDO ALONE OR WITH THE PROGRAMMING BOX. EITHER WAY COMES WITH THE FAN.....

apex has it with the box complete as well as the orion case for about £164 i think.... Give Richard a bell they should have them in stock....

Why did u want reverse, its not needed/wanted racing on track. :confused:

I run one and love it.....

I wanted reverse for a couple fo reasons. Firstly, my talent is somewhat diminished, and im constantly crashing at present and don't want to have to keep coming down off the rostrum.

Given that I tend to bash with only 1 other person most often, theres not normaly any marshalls there to help, so its just a nice luxury to have........especially when your spending that much on an esc eh?

Ended up buying from the boys at JE as it was 165 minus 7.5% inc the tuning box........ bargain really

yes if bashing etc, thats a very good reason for a reverse LOL.....

but I believe reverse is banned at 1/10 OR BRCA meetings?

It was discussed at the last 1/12th nationals - it is not banned but if anyone uses it causing a hazard to any other car, the driver will probably get disqualified from the meeting.

That's fine as Im primarily a basher anyway and my club r v v lenient. Im really struggling to find any details on warranty anywhere at all??
