Servo DEX210

Hello

I've just ordered myself a DEX210 and a DEX410 V3
I'm stopping with nitro 1/8th races and i'm going to electric 1/10th

For the DEX410 V3 I have a hobbywing 120A V2.1, SP 6.5 motor and ACE1015 servo.

For the DEX210 I have also a hobbywing 120A V2.1, SP 7.5 motor but I need a servo.

I can get a nice price on a Savox 1251mg. Is it good enough in a 2wd offroad car?

I am running the 1257 in my 210 and 410 and never had any bother.

Some people are running the 1251 and pushing the battery up more forwards to get more weight on the front for better steering.

No servo saver in the 210, if you crash a lot *coff* *coff* get a strong one.....

Or get another DS1015 they are awesome, then If something does happen with one you have the same as spares like case or gears etc

I use one of these

Simply brilliant, very accurate, does not overshoot, way more than enough torque for 1/10th buggy, quite fast and a great price.

That looks pretty good, There are a few servos that look pretty good spec wise from HK most are out of stock for the most part tho.

But there are quite a few not so good reviews for a lot of them with not centering properly or over running

Yeah, a lot of the hobbyking ones are not that great, or do not meet the specs.

This is one of the good ones though.
If you do get one though, just make sure to turn the servo on to centre it before putting the horn on, the main gear spins right around, there are no stops.

I recommend a Savox 1258 or an Align ds610, which are both the same except the align is cheaper and blue.

I tried a Savox 1251 in a 2wd buggy but because most don't have servo savers the internal gears break pretty easily.

Check out and see what eBay or the for sale section have to offer

Hope it helps

Thank you very much!!! :)

I'll go for a savox 1258 / 1257 or an ACE 1015

hey Kurt, I have been running the Savox 1251mg for a few months now in my dex210 on carpet and dirt. it works flawless.

prima servo en je kunt meer met je accu schuiven dan met een full size servo.
als je de batterystops weg haalt kun je helemaal naar voren met je accu, meer dan bij een full size servo

I run a 1251 in my 210 no problems but also run carbon fibre upgrade steering!

Got myself a new 1015 ;)

I like my 1015 in my DEX210. The fact its quite a heavy servo simply means I don't run as much nose weight as others do.

Kurtje 29-06-2012 01:30 PM

Idd that is one of the pros of buying this servo...

Gonna get the kits @ the shop now... :)
Me happy!!!
