x2c crush tubes.

Just got myself an x2c second hand and I love it.

Noticed whilst stripping it down that the bearings in the rear hubs were shot as their are no crush tubes to support them.

To solve this, I hacked apart the old beatings and used the inner ring as its the perfect size!

After fitting the new bearings and crush tubes in the rear hubs, all I'm left with is a little bit of end float, job done.

Havnt bothered with crush tubes on mine as i put Axial SCX10 alloy hexes on. so dont need crush tubes as they clamp up to the drive pin lurvly. And by the way they dont do crush tubes for them as not really needed.

You only really need crush tubes when using the alloy hubs or pins instead of hexes

Well what can I say, just about every car I've ever owned that ran hexes would have benefitted from crush tubes.

Using the plastic hexes and the old bearings were definitely done in, so this will hopefully make the fresh bearings last longer.

do you use old bearings for the front crush tube too?
Any other tubes out that fit? I dont have old bearings.
Would be really nice because you cant tight the wheels down without them.
