the track has had a lot of work done to it over the winter by a group of local lads. the track is now capable of multiple layouts by moving just a few hoses. the track has had a good weeding etc and has had a lot of sand removed. i went down month or so ago and the car came of the track with very little sand in it.

the actual track were running wont be put down until the day. we dont even no the layout so thell be no home advantage:drool:

the rostrum has had work done to it . its now about a foot higher and has been concreted in.

hand out transponders on the day are available

Looking forward to this one, hope the weather is as good as Bridgford Regional

Rumour at Broxtowe SCT National last weekend was that there are bad roadworks on A17 around Sutton Bridge area, can someone local please keep us all posted as to whether it will cause delays in getting to the track at weekend?

Rain!

With the forecasted for heavy rain today and more rain tomorrow is it likely the track will be flooded?

Rich D mentions the track was flooded on Monday and we havn't had the best weather this week to completely dry things up.

Could somebody go and check the track is raceable on Friday evening and make a decision whether the meeting will be run on Saturday? It would be good to know Friday evening as there are quite a few people travelling a fair distance for this meeting.

maky 21-06-2012 11:21 AM

Theres people going down this afternoon and Friday aswell so will let ya know

john333 21-06-2012 11:25 AM

Agree with the above post, admittedly we are only racing Sunday but it would be great if people updated on here what conditions are like. 80 miles is a long way to go to find out the meeting is cancelled

Dave 1975 21-06-2012 11:39 AM

You pipped me to it John lol

Me and my mate Paul are coming down from Sheffield so as John said we'd be very grateful for a track update Saturday or something..

Regards

Dave

john333 21-06-2012 12:43 PM

Not that I'm a prima dona though, if it's on I'll be racing lol

maky 21-06-2012 05:54 PM

Just been down the track . considering the rain we just had due a tornado going through long Sutton up the road....yeah ya read right .. the track is 80% usable with a few large puddles that were drying pretty quick

wes 21-06-2012 06:01 PM

And how would you rate conditions under foot for those who have not got toes joined together:woot:
