SilverstoneRCMCC Meeting Tomorrow 16/06/2012

Message from Matt

Due to the unfortunate situation of Telstar Racing having to cancel the Armageddon meeting because of the weather. SilverstoneRCMCC are able to run a all day meeting at our indoor off road astro track in Northampton tomorrow, this is in no way jumping on top of Telstars meeting and the success it would of been, as we all know how hard the guys have worked to try to make the meeting happen. But hopefully gives those travelling to the area the chance to still race. We have spoken to Matt at Telstar to make sure this is ok.

Details:

When: Saturday 16/06/2012
Venue: SRCMCC Tuesday Night Venue
Postcode: NN3 7QL

Times:
Track build 07.00-8.30 (SRCMCC club members and any keen people)
Practice starts 8.30-9.45
Round one starts 10.00
Racing finished by we will play it by ear as to how many we get
Pack track away after we have finished
Price:
£10.00 members
£12.00 non-members
2nd class half price!!!

Aim is to have 4 rounds of qualifying with 1 final for all, depending on numbers we could up this.

The astro will be the same used as that at the up coming national meeting in august.

Hi Paul,

Any pictures of the track? Think I might head down! What tyres work etc?

Cheers,

Alex

Hi Alex,
I think there's pics on here somewhere, sorry I'm useless at putting them online with my computer condition :woot:
The track will be 360 square metre of astro and 120 carpet for a jump section so our astro isn't damaged before the national. Schumacher spikes, pins, BB green and turf rippers all work just depends on preference.
Matt
