How best to polish?

Well I've stripped down my 2 original Ultima's and am now left with the chassis's, shock towers and motor plates......umm....now what? :eh?: How do I get them looking like new?

Dremel?

All tips welcome!

Hi Dan!

I'm using sandpaper with a waterproof backing, known as Wet and dry. P400, P800 and P1200 is a good combo. Works for me ;)

Just the man to reply! You get your amazing results with just wet n' dry?

Haha! Yes sir, but I have not yet encountered too deep scratches :wub

Note that it doesn't work on anodized parts like chassis for the Turbo Optima Mid because then the anodizing is lost :eh?:

The key is to be patience and handle every part like it's a diamond

Ptfe/silicone spray is good to finish off

Good point!

And Glycerol on the tires to soften them up and protect them from cracks. It is colorless and odorless.
