Firestorm 4s lipo
 

Has anyone ever put a 4s lipo in an e firestorm and can it be done

3s is max esc will take but motor is only rated for 2s

If I put in a motor and esc that would handle the power would the chassis be able to handle it

cant see why not?

It will work if the electrics can handle it but you need to make a custom battery strap

not sure how long the drivetrain would last, 4s lipo would give some serious power in one big lump, in particular the dogbones(driveshafts) would probably end up in 2 pieces pretty quick,

I got bored earlier and tried fitting 2 lipos and if you put them on their side they they will fit snug, the connect them up like a saddle lipo and make a retaining device
