C4.1 gearbox tight

Just building my c4 up at the moment, just finished the gearbox. When nipping the cap heads that go through the box and into the motor mount alot if resistance appears?.

Slacken these cap heads off a touch and it's as fee as ever, (but the screws are offering little in the way of clamping the box together).

Everything is cock on mechanically, bearing etc, just wondered if there were any areas of the box that need sanding etc.

Sorry if this question had been asked before, I couldn't find the answer.

Send me what your issues are to [email protected]
I will reply in the morning

If its the layshsft you need to dremel the gearbox housings to allow for a larger diameter for it to turn and not rub etc

If its the diff that's right when you mount both halves to the motor mount you need to threadlck the holes and back off about half a turn each screw

Also when you mount the turnbuckle for the saddle lip strap make sue it drops freely so loosen that screw also
