It is a nitro car for sure. The engine mount marks and the mechanical brake on spur gear shaft tells me :)

I've got an excuse, it's nitro and therefore not my interest.:p

As an educated guess I would say there's many parts similar in design to the early Kyosho Pureten Alpha though, but all Puretens were 4wd. Chassis colour would suggest either Thunder Tiger.
