I agree, the kit is top notch and easily the best buggy I've ever built

I agree except that the servo is a pain in the back side to get out quickly; especially when you forget go screw in the servo horn prior to your first race!

eh? 4 screws and you can get to it!

Try putting the servo horn on an SC10 4x4 crooked and then find out it wasn't. That's a servo that is difficult to get to.
Doh!

Thanks Neil, look forward to it.
Wes. He's already fast enough with that bloomin rango, when he can keep it in one piece!

Nice write up pip, ive just recently built mine too

-really enjoyable build also :)

The only thing I've found is that the rear end is way to soft even with 350wgt and 2.5springs.

I'm going to do what wes has advised and that is to fit 4 hole pistons to the rear shocks and hopefully that should sort it :)

Looking good Dave. When's it hitting the track .

Already thinking of it mate, but the 210 is going ok I just need to sort out my driving:lol:

SV2 and the DB1 are the only real 2 choices I would make, but I cannot justify buying a new built DB1 but would love one. Every SV2 I have seen, just works, thats all you need!

I used the 4 hole pistons in the rear at my last race meeting and it did make a massive difference but it is still too soft in my opinion so I have ordered a set of 3 hole tapered ones from Nick on the Forum as so many people have recommended 3 hole for this car.

Hmm I may have to invest in some of those then if I'm still not happy..

I've wondered about fitting stiffer springs to the rear also. 350 oil seems about right...

Nice write up again pip....

Be interesting to see how that improved kit thrust assembly compares with the pro spec u1954 as Schumacher still refer to the pro thrust as an upgrade in the manual!

Thanks Dave.
I think a lot of manufacturers just confuse 'upgrade' with 'different'!
It keeps us all spending.
