New Track and Rostrum Pics - Towcester, Northants
 

Hi Guys,

The Telstar Off Road Grass Track is coming along nicely. We have alot more work to do, finish of the rostrum, ramp/feature building, and more grass cutting.

Many thanks for everyones help with the rostrum build, grass cutting, and track laying. Pictures below.

Location: Towcester, Northants

Classes: 1/10 Off Road - 2wd, 4wd, Short Course

Rostrum: 12 Metre, Wood Construction, soon to have Ramp for Disabled Access

First Meeting: 16/17 June 2012

Facilities: On Site Cafe, Toilets, Overnight Caming, Garden Centre, Farm Shop.

That looks awesome Matt, wish I was going. Last time I raced on grass was at the Schumacher Invitational Finals all those years ago :D

Springer quite rightly :mad: pointed out the the majority of national tracks have the straight nearest the rostrum. :thumbsup:

Any chance to prove Alec wrong...
Of the 6 nationals this year:
Stotfold - nearest rostrum
RHR - away from rostrum
Eden Park - Either now I believe but I'm told it will be away from the rostrum for the national
Oswestry - away from the rostrum
Silverstone - not built yet...
Kiddy - nearest rostrum

So technically Springer is wrong :D

Either way it doesn't really matter as long as it works with the rostrum you build.
