Mad Rat running pics

Hello guys,

I thought I'd share some pics of my Mad Rat model in action. This model is built for stock racing (all racers have to run brushed 23T ansmann or LRP silvercans). I hope you like it :)

I love how the suspension is captured in action :)

i love the front wheels they look pretty cool. Where did you get the rear wing from or cut it from.

Looking good, liking the caster shocks on it too, Thought about it with my x2c but people stay with the small bore upgraded shocks so took them off.

Hello,

Thanks for the replies. :)

Rear lexan wing is from Associated.

It had large side "wings", but they had to be cut off because of wheel clearance at full suspension travel, so now the rear wing looks quite flat.

I like caster shocks too, but their springs need to be changed to soft ones (blue). Also the washers in between the o-rings have to be sanded down to 0,5-0,6 mm thickness, so the o-rings aren't so crushed, thus easening the shock shafts. If you leave them stock, the shaft movement is not smooth at all. Also I'd love to have some ti-ni coated shafts and better pistons (from caster too, white plastic).

Nice looking Rat Mate :D

I used to race in a 19t-17t stock class...was excellent, I'd love to race in that class again to be honest, was a lot of fun.
