mad rat/ monkey
 

hi is there a difference between the mad rat/ monkey brushless and brushed? is anything stronger to cope?
I got a ezrun 5.5t combo will either cope?

Ive had a quick look on Internet. Mad monkey would be better on tracks in the uk. Brushless is the way to go as no need to change brushes and they are a lot faster. The brushless speedo is a 60a one so 5.5 might be to much. Could be border line. Think 7.5 would be more suited. Have you had a look at the b4.1 rtr or losi 22 rtr as they are a lot more sturdy and stronger. They are a little bit more but better build quality.

If you want to upgrade motor you will need to upgrade the idler gear/s. 5.5t is too much I would go with a 7.5-8.5.
