Sorry to start a new thread but due to the track sadly no-longer being fully-dirt i decided to start a fresh up to date thread.

(Reason i cant make it fully dirt is because the dirt is too stony and no matter what i do its just far cant get it drive able for Buggies)

The new way i'm doing it is 80% Astro Turf and 20% Dirt

I collected a lot of Astro Turf today for a very nice price, and i started to lay it down just for a look and a quick drive. I've yet to decide what parts will be Astro and what parts will be dirt but i doubt it will be where it is now.

I'm collecting the rest of the Astro this Friday fingers Crossed. When you look at the photo/video it looks very bumpy but this is due to the astro still having fold lines which havn't dropped out yet.

Im planning on having a Open Day on Sat 19th or Sun 20th so if your interested in coming along and having a butchers/drive let me know

(Not decided yet) Sun 20th May: I'll be opening up for some free testing and hopefully finishing off anything which is needed

Car's Acceptable (electric only) for open practise day's:
1/8th Buggy (bit tight but iv'e had a Hyper go round)
1/10th Buggy 2wd/4wd
1/10th Short Course 2wd/4wd
1/16th Buggy
1/18th Buggy

All of the above have so far been round the track with no-problems.

We had a open practise day last night and had 5 x 1/10th buggys, 1 x 1.8th buggy, 1 x 1/10th SC, 1 x 16th buggy and a 1/18th buggy.

In order for this venue to work, i need to get some feedback. (Yes i know its coming upto summer and everyone wants to race outside, but come winter time when its wet and naff outside a nice, dry indoor astro track would surly be a plus?)

Therefore i need some people to come down and try it out and in the future to race, so what days are best for you? I can do one night during the week (Tues/Weds/Thurs) and also one weekend, of full day testing/racing (Sat/Sun)

So what would be your choices?

Nick i cant do this weekend at all, because im away karting in the Nationals. I can do the following week (mid week or weekend) though. (im working on dates for the next month or so and will post them soon)

Wednesday 6th June
6pm till 10pm
Free of Charge, feedback needed only and if possible please bring table and chairs as we only have a few

us three will be there and we have those bits you needed:)

Once again, will be down at the track 13th June from 5pm till 9pm

Looks like we have a set layout now just need more people to come down and race! If i can get enough people down ill do a race meeting using manual laptiming :)

Nope, due to no interest from anyone apart from the Child Family I shut it down. Now wet/windy and frosty bet people wish they tried in the summer :)
