Cleaning bodyshells
What's the best way of removing the old sticky glue goo that gets left behind from removed race numbers, etc.? I don't want to go attacking it with any old solvent, 'cause knowing my luck i'll melt me bodyshell :lol:

Ive always used brake cleaner - never had any melt yet !

I usually use either after shave (erm, I don't have any), perfume (not as good) or more commonly some deodorant like lynx (NOT anti persperant)
I have a couple of bottles of pure alcohol for cleaning camera stuff so I use those sometimes - whatevers got alcohol in it and is close to hand basically. beer doesn't work, sorry! |
I use motor cleaner. (well brake and clutch cleaner :P)

Anywayyyyyy..I'm off to the shop for some aftershave/perfume/windowcleaner/whitespirit/brakecleaner/motorcleaner.. Aww sod it. I'll get a new shell. ;) |
