Need more info than that

i think the problem could be that it is still on the old settings but i have done the new settings but there should be a way of swoping them over but there is not

dan r 16-04-2008 11:18 AM

i have tried making a new account
but it is still the same is there a way of re setting everythink

You should just have to scan for networks and connect to your new one? Can you even see it?

dan r 16-04-2008 11:25 AM

yes i can see it and the signal strenth is about 80% and when i press connect and i type the network key in it just says conection problems

dan r 16-04-2008 11:40 AM

i have done every think but it comes to the bit were it wants the security settings and u have the choice between

none
wpa
wep

but all i have is the network key

Southwell 16-04-2008 11:40 AM

Is there a specific error code?
How is the network key done? 12 digits, 24 digits or a random word?

dan r 16-04-2008 11:42 AM

its
eg

prvsoepd

8 letters

Southwell 16-04-2008 11:43 AM

So it's WPA you need to be connecting with.
