Thanks guys! That's how we did it at EPR too!

brookie 12-08-2012 08:56 PM

Chris really enjoyed his first outing to Surrey & Hants, well done to all involved!
Any links to full results would be great, thanks!

Dudders 12-08-2012 09:25 PM

Glad the day went well, few things I think to iron out with the series sponsors and organisers though I've heard!

Soon as I get the laptop back I'll post the results here

is that the series sponsors that haven't actually shown up to a round yet LOL

Dudders 15-08-2012 04:30 PM

Yea!

Speaking to Richard at Apex today he pulled out months ago, and as for HPI, well, that's anyones guess.

We only had 20 trucks turn up which I think it better than other rounds but still poor for the class IMHO. Even my truck was left un used after offering it out for the day :o!.

Guess we'll await news from the Adur Club?

s22jgs 15-08-2012 06:52 PM

Theres been nothing on the HPI new section after any of the rounds.
Think its a bit poor really from the 2 sponsors after some of us have travelled to all rounds so far

mikeyscott 15-08-2012 07:25 PM

Yup we were asked about trophies and Apex were suppose to be supplying.

So I just said speak to them not me...

We won't be interested in SC trucks at TORCH again, waste of time in my view. Now if I lived in the US I'd be up for it.

From what Richard told me they have not been involved for quite some time. I've sent an email of to Adur so hopefully some answer maybe due as to what and who etc.

Personally short course are ace, just need the numbers increasing which will come in time hopefully. SHRCCC had a round of the National series which was very well attended and we hope to hold it again next year.

s22jgs 16-08-2012 10:06 AM

yeh it all seems like a very poorly organised mess.
although ive not been the one driving to the rounds, i wouldnt have bothered with the long journeys and having an extra car to get ready if there had been an announcement regarding the sponsors pulling out

Dudders 27-08-2012 07:14 PM

Results will be corrected and sent off to series officials tonight.

brookie 31-08-2012 04:05 PM

Corrected? That's a bit of a worry! Especially from the winners point of view!

They available for viewing anywhere yet?

Dudders 31-08-2012 05:14 PM

You're safe! Was just a case of the truck classes running to the wrong classifications on the day on BBK, quick change and two places reversed and we're all done :woot:
