Boughton Raceway Sunday 25th
Hi guys,
We are still planning on holding a warm up/open meeting this Sunday (weather permitting). If you are planning on coming along please could you let me know, and pass your details on (pt number, frequencies etc). This will be the last chance to try out the new track before the regional on the 9th April, and we would like to get as much feedback on the track as possible. On the day we can arrange either qualifying heats and finals, or timed open practice, its up to you. Thanks, Barry. |
I'm keen for this.
Maybe a series of all out racing like a karting event. Stick some cars on a front row, some on row a few feet behind, bundle start, then rotate. Should push the drivers hard testing the track and be good fun. |

PE33 9ST is the nearest postcode, a map is on the brca-eoe website. Track is astro.

Cool what is start time and what tyres

Will probably go for a start time of around 9:30, not too early as we will be losing an hour in bed!
As for tyres, the track as new, so new infact no one has properly run on it yet! I've done a few test laps to check the layout and jumps, but that is all. The few laps I did were on ballistic buggy greens, which felt good. So I would think mini spikes/pins will work well. |

U should see the track now with all the jumps in place and dots on corners really starting to take shape.

Sorry guys no power on site so bring your generators!
Entrance is through a gate just in front of the metal boughton sign. I'll put a couple of brca signs out on the road. Plenty of camping is available for the regional. When driving down to the track on the field please keep to the left hand side, as the land is used as a private air strip. |

A huge round of applause to the boughton bunch, you have built a supurb track, the best astro track i have ever raced on. The track is supurbly prepared and the layout rewarded good clean driving and will make for some supurb racing.

A track that is consistent throughout. Excellent, well thought out, well built features. By far the best astro track I have raced on too. The preparation has been second to none. See you in a couple of weeks! |

Great Vids Zipper, lovin' the batman stylee'. All i can say is What a bloody good track with a mix of fast and slow stuff and some challenging "men from the boys" obstacles. Will be a good regional for sure.
