Want to go to the Euros?

Is there anyone out there that would like to race in the Euros this year in Turin, Italy? I do have a place but for money reasons I cant afford to go now. Would anyone be able to take my place? All you need is a BRCA membership and you can go. You dont even have to do any Regionals or Nationals. Please let me know if you would be interested. Thanks.

dancoog 28-03-2008 07:20 PM

you have a PM

Mrs oOple 30-03-2008 08:22 PM

Have you managed to sort anything out yet Stu? I'm sure there will be someone out there who would love to go to Italy.
Hope you get it sorted soon.

Euro's

Hi Stu,

Don't want to be a pain but I've got exactly the same problem as you so if anybody out there is thinking of doing the Euro's then there are potentially 2 places available not just woody's

_JP_ 31-03-2008 11:06 PM

3 I have a place in 4wd, but not going now.

jimmy 31-03-2008 11:16 PM

booooo how come guys? We're going over on the thursday to get all settled (find the maccies) and get the laptops up and running / find internet access so we can do a nice little report :)

Lee 31-03-2008 11:19 PM

I`ll be there, im not sure how many members of the dance team will be there though.

Maybe we could have some european honourary dance team members:confused:

Mrs oOple 31-03-2008 11:28 PM

Was that a hint Lee? haha

Garry Driffill 01-04-2008 12:46 AM

Garry if we go there after belguim your mother will divorce me

jimmy 01-04-2008 12:54 AM

To go to Euros or to join the oople danceteam?

Not cheap to go to the Euros. The entry fee is quite pricey if you're doing both classes, you also need a EFRA license. the flights I think cost 300 or so for the both of us from Manchester. The hotel costs a bit but some people are camping there (at the track) if you fancy that madness.

Belsten 01-04-2008 06:07 AM

man this is very tempting, what are the dates please ?

Mrs oOple 01-04-2008 06:27 AM

The Euros run from Monday the 7th July through to Saturday 12th July.

RSharpy 01-04-2008 07:29 AM

This is very tempting but not sure if i'd be able to get a pink ticket

Does the 2wd run then the 4wd ie 3 + 3 days?

Jamie B4 01-04-2008 09:19 AM

Euros

Yeh its 2WD first 3 days then 4WD next 3 days

James 01-04-2008 09:31 AM

Are the places still available?

Lee 01-04-2008 09:32 AM

Do it james:thumbsup:

Northy 01-04-2008 09:39 AM

woOdy 01-04-2008 01:13 PM

Just had a bit of a telling off. If you are interested then please contact Paul Worsley. If you send me a pm then I will give you his email.

jimmy 01-04-2008 01:22 PM

Might be best not to put this email address in a public forum - maybe PM interested parties directly with the address?

Welshy40 01-04-2008 04:44 PM

footey 01-04-2008 05:04 PM

ben 01-04-2008 05:18 PM

lol shane... i think everyone would want to go if it wasnt so expensive:thumbsup:

b4rs 01-04-2008 10:51 PM

1000! jeez. lol i just been to lanzarote for a week with my dad and it only cost about £1000 for us 2. surely its not that expensive? is it?

jimmy 01-04-2008 11:14 PM

1000 for lanzarote? you could go to Italy and race toy cars for that!

Our flights are 300 for two of us return from manchester - hotel?? not sure.. car hire ? not sure.. but going on previous missions I guess 200 for car hire and 350 for hotel? stick it all together with race and efra fees and its a grand for 2 people and we get to play with toys as well!

disclaimer: my maths is probably wrong and I made up most of the prices off the top of my head

b4rs 01-04-2008 11:21 PM

lol went to lanzarote, hired bicycles and jet skiid for tht!

jimmy 01-04-2008 11:26 PM

cool, so almost half as good as racing toy cars then! still, not bad! ;)

b4rs 02-04-2008 12:57 AM

twas ace! apart from i lost my glasses somewhere in the ocean. some fish will be able to see now!

still was amazin

Lee 02-04-2008 08:07 AM

Im not going to sit on the fence on this one, the euro`s will either be better or worse than lanzarote:thumbsup:

Lanzarote is like italy but without the euros:lol:

jimmy 02-04-2008 09:04 AM

I think you hit the nail on the head there Lee! good call

:p

Mossy 02-04-2008 10:00 AM

For me and Big Geoffo, we paid £140 each for flights out of Gatwick on the Saturday, then like Jimmy said Hotel normally £300/400 for the week, Car £200, General Beer/food money prob £300. EFRA license is £50, then you gotta whack tyres on top of that etc.

£1000 easy I would say, prob abit more.

Well worth it tho!

Si

Lee 02-04-2008 12:18 PM

What dates are people flying out and back again? and where from, we might as well be on the same flight, will anyone be getting a People carrier/mini bus thing? i dont mind hopping in and paying my share of course.
