Here are two of my favorites..

1969 Shelby Mustang GT500..

2007 Spec Mclaren F1 car..

albertobdq 26-03-2008 11:16 PM

Do you prefer a modified version rather than the original GT500? Kimi driving 07 version?

josh_smaxx 26-03-2008 11:18 PM

The muira is tasty, good choice. I'll let this thread expand a little before a post my choice :p

Garry Driffill 26-03-2008 11:19 PM

It was the first one i saw, But the way these things go round corners at them speeds is just beyond me  seems to be the case in our RC scene too ;) if you know what i mean LOL , its a true engineering master peice, yea going to space was good but F1 CARS ! WOOOO !!

mattym0310 26-03-2008 11:51 PM

i wudnt call it beautiful paul? just like the mustang [thats just brutal] and the f1 car is mean but not beautiful , i dont think anyway :eh?:
no offence but i think the f40's front lights make it look dopey lol  awesome car though

Garry Driffill 26-03-2008 11:55 PM

Dodge Charger ?

glypo 26-03-2008 11:56 PM

I agree. F1 cars are interesting looking, due to their functionality, but they are not beautiful machines in my eyes.

Ferrari road cars in general, AC Cobra etc.... they are beautiful :D

I dont think I could chose just one. There are so many cars I really love for differing reasons. I think the Group B reallycars are beautiful, but its more like how an F1 car is beautiful.

I've been a mega fan of the Zonda ever since first seeing images of it but I dont think it's design keeps me comming back, I think for overal beauty the GT40 is hard to beat.

O yeh, 0.1mm of suspension travel and a shattered spine at the end of every drive, heaven!

markwilliamson2001 27-03-2008 09:12 AM

Your all wrong....

Aston Martin DB5, or Jag E-Type. The muira is cool, but not beautiful. Its only cool because the of the guy driving it at the beginning of the original Italian Job.

Nuff said

Cruise 27-03-2008 09:24 AM

Must be Citroen DS

At least half of the Car Designers drive one.

993 911 Turbo? My Dad's been thinking about that for a while, a proper original air cooled one anyway......

They are sexy as hell - still love the lines of the 911's, i don't think they will ever date!

I do love the F40 though.... probably my all time favourite!

Southwell 27-03-2008 10:43 AM

No, their a 964 turbo 3.6
The two models are very similar though, like rocking horse poo though.

mattym0310 27-03-2008 11:36 AM

There are way too many to choose from!! i definately have to agree with Nick on the 250 GTO, my all time favourite car.. shame about the price tag
I must say that the miura is beautiful aswell.
But seen as we are on the subject of porsches... how about a 1973 911 RS lightweight  not quite sure of the owner?? ;)

and don't laugh at me either!

Lee 27-03-2008 11:41 AM

Bugatti?

Nick Goodall 27-03-2008 11:46 AM

Yep Bugatti - I used to love seeing them race at old Silverstone Vintage meetings my uncle used to go to (He had E-Types, Old MG TF's and other stuff) but those small bugatti's with the odd camber on the front wheels sounded amazing!!!!!

mattym0310 27-03-2008 12:02 PM

Yeah bugatti type 35b and the bottom one is a bugatti royale [only three in the world and 6 engines :wtf:]

yeah i go to those! really good to watch, they overtake in cars made in the 1920's ans 30's! some from around 1900!! unlike F1 who just sit in the same place and their cars are a lot more modern, a lot more technically advanced and hundreds times safer!

anyways.. back oin subject :D

Theres no replacement for displacement.:thumbsup:

A displacement of 7011cc is achieved thanks to bore and stroke measurements of 104.8 x 101.6mm, the dry-sumped motor boasting an OBD-II compliant emission control system with dual heated oxygen sensors and a high-volume EVAP system making it 50-state legal in North America. Also present are hydraulic valve trains, a magnesium oval bore throttle body and intake manifold (the former mounted longitudinally). Producing 550bhp at 6400rpm, the engine is coupled to a six-speed gearbox (also longitudinally mounted) with a four-plate hydraulically-operated clutch.

Lee Martin 27-03-2008 12:34 PM

911 GT3RS we saw was the actually one they used on topgear! and i was sat in that beeeesh!!!
