Would it be possible to fit a 6th cell in?

Looks like room in it, but the chassis would need a 6th slot in it.

I can answer a few questions :

- Yes you can use 6 cells, but some Dremel time is required. I don't know yet for myself if I will go for 5 cells or stay "straight" :D

As you might noticed, my first prototype is 5 cells chassis with possible conversion to 6 cells. The definitive chassis set could be as follow :

This 6 cells version is design so that it could easy receive either B44 or Tateego (Team-Azarashi) body shells.

I really want to see this back to back with a standard B44, looks really awsome, one fine job:thumbsup: the top decks on the standard B44 have known to break easy around the ball stud area though, a little more material round the ball stud area would take away one of the well known breakages:thumbsup:

I guess the D4 shell will fit too? I haven't built my B44 yet. I bought a D4 shell as well, I presumed it would fit (since the D4 looks very similar)... I like the shape and those shark gills it has"! Very Ferrari style!

As to 5 vs. 6 cells: How about "almost" slotting out the hole for the 6th cell, just leaving 4x "tabs" that hold it in place. Would be strong enough with 5 cells, yet very easy to remove if you wanna race with 6... Not all people are to be considered stable with a Dremel in their hands :rolleyes:

Olivier, if you can establish a bank account for me, then I can make sure there's always some $ on it, and you can just keep shipping all those marvelous mods to me OK? :D Oh la la!

There's one thing I often wonder about - what do you guys do for a living? Jimmy surely must be a graphics designer? Antoine is so too? Olivier, you are an engineer? Raphael?

Myself I'm educated as a master in science of business, worked in sales/marketing for a few years. Now I work as an IT systems engineer (that difficult "Admin" person I'm sure you all have at work :D)

There was a guy on an HiFi forum here in Norway that was discussing which VERY expensive new stereo to buy... after many posts he obviously left the room... with the PC on and the forum still open... his wife wrote "Dear husband, I really can't recall us discussing buying an insanely expensive stereo. We were actually practising today! Approx 0 degrees, but still big fun! It's not easy with a front one-way when the ground is more or lezz frozen :D

Building the B44 now... it's a very nice build indeed!
