Hi all
This post seems a bit quiet, especially as the interclub event is just over a week away!!
Any news on which teams are competing? We are trying to get a team from TRCC and Teesdale combined so there's one team.
I expect that York & Batley will (hopefully) field two teams as usual, but will Durham or Bury Metro be there? (i hope so).
hope to hear from you soon and that there are enough teams to run the event, because i think it's one of the best events in the off road season and was a shame that last years event didn't go ahead.

NERCR (Durham) have a team put together, think the entry is/has been sent off, and Newcastle Racers also have a team!!

emzy 22-08-2006 09:45 AM

AND my Dad's racing... BE AFRAID.

Col 23-08-2006 09:05 PM

I haven't heard anything from York club. Has anyone from York got any details as I'm planning to race anyway (even if I have to make my own team up!!)

Northy 23-08-2006 10:33 PM

Derek will probably be sorting it this weekend I'd have thought.

Wonder if York could field 3 teams? :p

Is there anyone looking for a team to race in, NERCR has lost a member (Snee is going on holiday, to top the tan up no doubt!!) and doesn't have a replacement as yet, any help would be appreciated, if you have BRCA membership!!

Sorted now, turned out he was given the wrong date!!

Northy 28-08-2006 12:50 PM

Tom was sorting York A at Telford. I think Derek is sorting York B.

Oscar 28-08-2006 06:45 PM

I think Dan Greenwood is Batley organiser should you need a place reserving Jimmy.
Also I have the computer timing equipment here, so I need to pass this on to someone to take with them.. hint hint Jimmy.;)

jimmy 28-08-2006 08:36 PM

I was just about to comment that my dad'd just seen him and he'd said he WAS going at the weekend... then I noticed your edit! Whoo.

jimmy 31-08-2006 08:39 AM

Who is in the batley team then ? York should be as strong as ever and bury should be at least up there somewhere hopefully.

vader 31-08-2006 08:47 AM

wacattack 01-09-2006 10:04 AM

I can't race on sunday, having my new bathroom suite fitted. How grown up am I!!!

Richard Lowe 01-09-2006 11:49 AM

We're doomed :o

notlawnomis 01-09-2006 12:45 PM

Think Batley should have a nice long layout to give us F4/5 novices a good headstart against the F1/2 trophy hunters :buggy:, make them work for their points ;)

Hulk 01-09-2006 04:02 PM

Don't be daft Rich, you're not doomed:without Wayne in your team you will do miles better! But you still won't win!

Team York all the way

Come on!

Richard Lowe 01-09-2006 04:47 PM

Naa York have already lost

Hulk 01-09-2006 05:20 PM

You doing 2 or 4wd rich?

Hope your doing 4wd and were in the same heat so i can test how strong my doubled up front shock tower is!! haha

Richard Lowe 01-09-2006 05:34 PM

Are you admitting defeat already Craig, are you expecting to be behind?

Hulk 01-09-2006 05:46 PM

Hehe don't be silly im talking about when i come round to lap you!! http://www.oople.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

:p

RobHatcliffe 01-09-2006 09:47 PM

Anyone know how many teams have entered?
From what I can gather there's.....

Bury
Batley x2
York x2
NERCR
Teeside

Any more?

What time are people getting there on Sunday?

notlawnomis 01-09-2006 10:07 PM

Newcastle Racers also has a team :)

Good point Rob, theres nothing on the entry form about starts times

Greg Williams 01-09-2006 10:08 PM

Rob, Teesside will have two teams on Sunday.

Greg

jimmy 01-09-2006 10:17 PM

To save me feeling like a "nob" asking to get team photos on the day, can I ask now to get a photo of each complete team together sometime in the day - just for the memories! :)
it can be hard to get one lot of 10 people together, never mind doing that several times

notlawnomis 01-09-2006 10:19 PM

Just found this in the interclub rules on the BRCA N/E website: -

"Team Captains book their team in from 07.45am on the day, and pay the fee before racing starts (hopefully at 10.00am)"

All being well looks like 9 teams, should be a good day!

RobHatcliffe 01-09-2006 10:20 PM

So by my reckoning that's 9 teams, with 10 drivers each. It's gonna be a busy day at Batley.

**Rob goes to bed to pray for dry weather on Sunday**
