In the flesh he is a top bloke but just likes to get his 2 pennies worth in and wind some people up.

i think his serpent thread is great and alot of help to us thinking of getting an 811

He,s been banned before but somehow got back on. he jsy never let anyone have the last word always having to be right and never wrong. He went too far on the durango threads and got what he deserved. he was warned by Jimmy just a few days ago but still chose to ignore him.
I personally would like to see all his posts removed as non of them were benificial to anyone.

Boring without him, he never insulted me or offended me with any of the keyboard warrior skills.

If you're going to ban him, then you need to consider having a word with the users that deliberately wind him up when he's trying to help. From my experience - albeit limited, he's quite harmless and means well. As the excellent Serpent thread shows.

Rip (rant in peace) phil! Echo all been said re top lad when you meet him and some good posts and threads as well. He always looked to help me online or in person. Come back soon! ;)

seems lip is a bit of a Jekyll and hyde character he appears to be in person a reasonable helpful chap .

but once behind the keyboard turns into a prat at times upsetting people .there is no need for that . a genuine opinion is fine but rubbishing someone elses product is not acceptable .

Quite agree with this. There has been far too much winding up on here recently.
If you ban someone for retaliating, then you need to ban the people instigating it too?!
