Some pretty nice stuff there, I like the way you streak fades towards the back of the car on the 8th and the yellow/blue shell in front (looks losi-esque to me?) going fast standing still there.

Nice work matey.

I'm just about on top of the 57 shells I had to paint (which turned into about 68ish by the time I started to paint 'em!)
Think I've got about 10 left from that batch with another 20 odd waiting for masking etc. :eh?::rolleyes:

It's hard work all these shells.;)

ben 01-03-2008 01:32 PM

YOUUUU WAT. 68 shells !!!!!. Do you ever sleep. haha:p:eh?:

niggs98 01-03-2008 01:48 PM

blimey i thought 5 in and afternoon was bad enough but 68 is mental

god and i thought 24 i did this week were bad
i managed to finish 18 in 6 days not to shabby

telboy 01-03-2008 08:34 PM

My record is 13....in a day!:wtf:

Think I totalled about 30 that week.
But that was last year. Not done it since.

Sort of averaging around 3-4 a day at the moment. Just taking it steady.;)

The thing I'm finding a problem at the moment is the paint not 'curing' properly.
It seems ok when I've painted them, and dried them. But when they arrive with the customer, some haven't cured properly and the paint rubs off in places.

I think its just a simple as that though, its not fully cured (hardened) and putting the shells back into the bags to send back is just holding the moisture in.
I think its also down to the low temp's too, being winter and all.

PaulRotheram 01-03-2008 08:51 PM

Put a delivery note in tel, keep stored in a warm dry area for 12 hours to avoid dissopointment, like you say, winter and crap weather doesnt help anything, especially my work rate :D
