YORK EBOR24 - 24 Hour Electric Buggy Race
 

v Track Set-up:- Friday evening 7.00pm to 10.30pm
v Final tweeks to set-up of track and power supply into pitting hall Saturday 09.30am
v Doors open for competitors 11.00am – NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING/CARAVANS etc.
v Practice 12.00 Noon to 1.30pm (Chassis to be marked in this time*)
Chassis can only be replaced (like for like) observed and remarked* by scrutineers.
v Random scrutineering (equally timed (per team)) will be made during the 24hr race time
v Car bodies to be BRCA (2011) legal with no hinged sections/flaps/cut outs or chassis cutouts to accommodate very easy battery changes. No quick release wheels.
v Tyres: Schumacher Mini-Pins or Mini-Spike only (NO FOAM Tyres)
v Standard Production Buggy Wheels
v Motors:- As per current BRCA Listing (Brushed or Brushless)
v Batteries:- Hard-cased 7.4V (2S) Lipo or BRCA Listed Cells
v No external battery power for transmitters

Is the rule about minimum of six per team flexible?

We talked last year about doing it with a team of two.

If we enter a team of six and four dont turn up/are made up (like Mary) will we get rumbled?

I think you will now stu. Of course nothing in the rules says that all the team have to be there at once. Are you a master of disguise? :D

i wanted to do this last year by myself a 1 man team but was told i couldnt :(

Would have been a pain to marshall yourself for 24 hours as well as drive! :p

its called not crashing :woot: and plenty of redbull { other energy drinks are available }

No idea Damo, that was the reply I got from Derek Bradders when I expressed my teams intent to enter.
I am nothing to do with either the running or planning of this one, so am a little out of the loop.

Surprised there hasn't been more banter about this to be honest..... :(
