Yep Lipo's are alowed, the only restriction is controlled tyres, yellow pins only.

DaveG28 01-03-2008 01:20 PM

Has anyone got a postcode for the venuw tomorrow?

Also, are there pitting tables, power or anything, or am I best bringing my own tables, 12v etc?

power was available last time so i would assume it is this time

wes 01-03-2008 03:58 PM

Mains power will be avaliable, if your using a 12 volt please bring it in a sealed container. We have enough tables for 50ish drivers so advise bringing your own table just in case

Mossy 01-03-2008 04:48 PM

Any pictures of the track? are there places still available for tomorrow? Not got anywhere to go so may pop up?

James 01-03-2008 04:58 PM

Disaster! I need 2 rear hub carriers for my new B44 that I want to race at Broxtowe tomorrow!

Do bJ4 ones fit?
Will there be a shop that is likely to have some?
Can anyone offer me a pair to race with please?

Cheers!

sweet! Im still wonderin wether to do 2 and 4wd! Lookin 4ward to a good day!

_sleigh_ 02-03-2008 06:20 PM

Track was cool, albeit not the easiest to get a fast, clean consistent run on. But cool nevertheless.

Congrats to James on his TQ & Win(s)

Spoolio 02-03-2008 06:31 PM

Top day.

. Well done again to the crew at Broxtowe. Terrific track this time with a good combination of tricky bits (especially that last kicker jump before going under the crossover) and nice flowing sections, the section under the crossover, round the 'island' and over the tabletop was brilliant.

The 'wall of death' corner was much better than last time too.

And I came back with all 4 corners on all 3 cars. Result!:D

Next time I think I'm only running 2 cars though, I was knackered after all that marshalling:lol:.

RSharpy 02-03-2008 06:32 PM

Yep well done to James on the double. And well done to all involved at the club another great meeting and track. Was liking the new wall ride.

Race report and videos will be on me-or.co.uk soon.

Cockerill 02-03-2008 08:21 PM

The track today was really good, enjoyed my day, pity I had to go home early.

What were the results?

Also, to the guy who asked about my X6 sorry I didn't get a chance to speak to you. If you still have any questions just drop me a PM on here

ianplimmer 02-03-2008 08:34 PM

yet another good meeting from the broxtowe club, i did have my doubts about the track at first but it drove well

TOM,shame you had to leave mate, are you feeling better ?,,,your x6 rocked mate !!!

Cockerill 02-03-2008 08:39 PM

Feeling a little better now. The car was really good, would've liked to have tried a few more things tho.

Regarding the track, I liked everything but the last two ramps of the 'quad', but then again they were the same for everyone and slowed the track down a little.

The wall was ACE, really enjoyed it, as was the cross-over.

DaveG28 02-03-2008 08:43 PM

Great day thanks guys, loved the track, although surpried to escape with only one breakage from it!

Dave

ianplimmer 02-03-2008 08:49 PM

yep i agree those last two jumps where a bit fierce but with a little mid air throttle they were ok

nottmboy 02-03-2008 09:05 PM

chuffed to bits with how the track turned out, hope everybody enjoyed it. wasn't sure wether the first one was just good luck :D got to do it all again now next month:thumbsup:
