Does 'SC' mean trucks are not allowed this year (t4, x60, ...)? I was planning to ride an sc10 anyway, so for me it doesn't really matter, but maybe others still hoped to race their truck.

registered, coming with SCX-60 with speedy motor ;)

what tyres are you running on SC for astroturf?

ik had nog niks anders dan versleten stockbanden, wat nogal weinig stuur én een zwierend gat opleverden, maar heb ondertussen Kourse Kings van Fastrax. Ik ben benieuwd, maar denk wel dat dat geschikte banden voor astro zijn.

ik heb die banden ook, zijn wel erg hard, shumacher zou ook met vergelijkbare banden komen

Ik rij al ff met de King Kourse op de astro tracks (kampenhout, merchtem en arendonk) Geweldige band ervoor...

Echter in Charleroi heeft hij niet de gewenste grip, bijna helemaal geen grip :D
Denk dat de spikes van schumacher een betere optie gaan zijn!

welke inserts?

vermoed dat de mro proto types wel goed gaan zijn voor die bandjes lol

In SC altijd molded?

Hoeft niet, maar meestal wel.
Maar een harde moulded insert werkt het beste met deze banden.
Maar wel zal je (zeker voor) wat rijen moeten wegknippen.
En de Kourse Kings gaan niet erg lang mee, de spikes breken af na een tijdje, of als je op iets hards gas geeft (bijv een buis of zo).

inderdaad. Vrijdagavond 3 packs gereden met de SC10 in chalala en al redelijk wat topjes kwijt.
Verder vond ik toch dat ze goeie grip gaven, toch alleszins genoeg forward grip. Ik heb nog niks geknipt, dat moet ik misschien wel eens proberen.

forward grip was er ook genoeg, echter zijwaart vond ik het tegenvallen tov bvb in kampenhout/arendonk...

Nu ik had mijn bandjes wel al geknipt :D anders was er buiten geen houden aan...

Oké, wachten op de schumachers dan maar. Toppen die afbreken vind ik maar niets, ik wil al het rubber zelf offeren.

no pins on my SC this manche :( they were in stock yet;
stock SC10 Team Factory tyres were "ok"; front tyres... almost hopeless (Proline Sniper)

Gisteren getest op de SC10: Rear minispike, front Kourse Kings...
Veel stabielere achterkant, maar ook veel minder stuur nu, dus vanvoor zullen ook minispikes/pins moeten komen.

Zou je aan die minispikes moeten knippen??
Ik heb al 2 setjes rondom gescoord!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I would hardly call that a fair SC body, seeing as the other are drying around with parachute bodies which drag them down :p

I must admit, the body would be too much advantage, and indeed .. at least the wheels should be covered with body. So, no beetle at the race I guess :(

Lesson learned yesterday: yellow minipins in the front is impossible to drive .. way too much steering, it rolls over before you know it. So I've settled for RR minispike and FR Kourse Kings. Still lacking some steering but it's doable.
