Why does everybody hate captainlip??H
 

Hi I`m a new member and i have noticed when ever captainlip makes a post he is shotdown or verbally dry bummed :cry:.I don`t know the guy but i`m finding this hard to understand? Have i missed something? :confused: Anyway he seems pretty thick skinned and takes it well I mean the banter not the dry bumming :woot: Still confused as i guess many new members are?.

It's a pretty long story of quite a few "uncalled for" thread posts/replies/tittles/rants by Mr Lip over a period of time. I believe that most have these have been removed now, (I may be wrong) Have a look back through the Durango threads, they seem to be his main target lol

Please don't let it pre-judge the rest of the oople gang though, There are seriously helpful and knowledgeable people on oOple, that will help anybody and give advice to anybody willing to listen :)

Because the majority of his posts are pure bullshit

I have noticed that in the durango section as i`m secretly lusting over the new 410 v3 which looks like its going to be my first offroader as the TRF511 seems a little to expensive.But it still looks good enough to eat!!.

I'll give this 2 minutes before lip gets this thread removed ;)

Id actually like to see the evidence for the crap I keep getting, have to agree with tishers quote above.

You'll be happily looking on the Durango forum and then you'll come across a thread by captainlip then your point of view will begin to change. After a while you'll be that sick of reading his stupid comments and like me think about switching cars so don't have to see them.

Initially it was funny but most of the time he stirs thing up out of boredom and causes bother this is why people have turned on him. It used to be good on here BC (Before Captainlip). :yawn:

On a serious note, I actually quite like captainlip - he just gets carried away sometimes which can be misunderstood.

He doesn't mean any offence but the way he puts himself across doesn't do himself much good. If he worded his posts better then yes or applied thought before typed then no one would bite. His posts seem to be put in such away they are open to interpretation so can be taken in a good or bad way depending on your point of view.

I hear he's a good lad in the flesh, he's a bit of a keyboard worrior on here and don't take any diff building advise off him. :woot::woot::woot::woot:

I havent posted crap in ages, its misunderstood everytime now, that "listening to customers" thread was in no way durango bashing or a wind up thread, all i wanted to see was if people expected more, less or think they got it right with the v3. but instantly it became as i was rango bashing.

misunderstood is the big word in everything, check 90%+ of my posts they are useful or positive posts, ive helped numerous people on here.

I dont mind people on my case, im cool with it and find it amusing.

Some say, that Chuck Norris once challenged Captainlip to a Durango diff building competition........ and lost :woot:

Unfortunately dude first impressions are the ones that stick!

Your pants posts on "durango cant build diffs for shit" when you built them and mysteriously had a bad mould of 2 gearbox casing out of the millions that were made! (ignoring the fact you put the shims on the inside of the gear casings, causing the failures FACT )

And your other rants are just enough to put people off reading your "90%" of helpfull posts.
