cjm_2008 20-09-2011 11:13 AM

entry sent.

it's been too long since I last raced on grass

edit: only just noticed you're running trucks - this gives me an excuse to dust off the SC10!

GRIFF55 20-09-2011 11:44 AM

Can we enter on the day Steve, also I might have a new young driver with me. It's surely ok for him to enter yeh? Breath some new blood into the welsh team:thumbsup:

big dave 21-09-2011 09:20 AM

No problem booking on the day, we wont turn anyone away. but if the heats are pre done, then you just get placed where ever they can when you book in. no problem with a newbie.

Also waether's looking ok at the moment, we havent raced on the ground for the past two weeks due to weather, so it should be nice after a grass cut. We got one or two things to do on the saturday to tidy up the area, but nothing big.

millzy 21-09-2011 09:26 AM

looking forword to this, not raced in a while

ant west 71 22-09-2011 07:43 AM

please can someone book me in for the swansea round:). thanks. 2wd usuall details

DCM 22-09-2011 08:08 AM

Ant, you really need to post your PT and crystal details incase the club doesn't have them, makes it much easier on the day.

blue_pinky 22-09-2011 08:28 AM

Ant you really need to figure out this email malarky...I heard everyone's doing it ;)

Get a gmail account, or a hotmail account, or one of the many many many free webmail services that are out there and join the fun :woot:

I've booked in for 4wd...am about half way through cleaning my car from Cobra's mud bath...so it had better be dry on Sunday...bloomin long way to come from Weston to have to clean the car like this again so soon!

What time will booking in be?

big dave 22-09-2011 12:41 PM

booking in will be 9am to 9.30am

Not really going to be doing a drivers list untill weekend as its wrca, and pre booking in is not the best in wales. lol

Belsten 22-09-2011 08:53 PM

DCM 22-09-2011 09:20 PM

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?msi...1a542bde&msa=0

Best way to discribe how to get there is.......

Take the left turning off the mc donalds roundabout on A465 if coming from neath, Go along the road about 500 yards ish and turn left on the old road, continue down there around the bend, then you pass a laybye behind some trees, after that you see a large house on the left, then about 400 yards after that is a tunring on the left that takes you into a lane and you will see a house to your left, follow the lane over the canal bridge, "the lane is bumpy but get better over the otherside of the bridge"
Then as you go over the bridge go striaght on past the gate that should be open, if its not its just lift the rope to open. then follow the lane to the lakes.

Just incase you missed it click this - http://www.swansearc.co.uk/outdoor_t...irections.html

If your coming down the Heads of the valley, just turn right at the McDonlads roundabout and the rest is the same.

Theres been no food arranged as far as im aware Dave, looks like a packed lunch.

cjm_2008 25-09-2011 10:27 AM

well that was annoying.

100 mile round trip to stand in a puddle of mud. twas a shame, as swansea had done an excellent job of laying out a lovely track.

***king weather!

hit5005 25-09-2011 07:06 PM

did the racing go ahead?

GRIFF55 25-09-2011 07:09 PM

8th raced but tenth was cancelled :-(
Had to race the smelly beast instead, good laugh tho

hit5005 25-09-2011 07:23 PM

is it going to be rearrange?

peetbee 25-09-2011 07:49 PM

doubt it Huw, I believe that Swansea are due to head indoors next month and good weather now is likely to be in even shorter supply:(
