This meeting is still on as scheduled on our website, however the land is VERY boggy at the moment, so I'll keep you all updated

What ever.:p

Exactly how shot is the track? It was shot last time I was there. If it is boggy now's the time to get a roller in there surly.

andyroooo 08-09-2011 06:53 PM

That's probably a good idea!!!

Dudders 08-09-2011 07:03 PM

Only said it was a bit boggy in the week after a bit of rain

Dudders 09-09-2011 08:40 PM

Anybody up for this? All a bit quiet on here!. Time for indoors already? :(

We'll do the odd Sunday Deano, as for a series, I'll see how the venue goes first....

The MK GP should be pretty good though....

I'm sure sure the venue will be sound you know it makes sense

andyroooo 09-09-2011 10:04 PM

I will be down for this one unless it's pissing down!! Was hoping to give my SX3 it's first run but my saddles haven't arrived yet :(

dobber 10-09-2011 08:13 AM

Me and the boy will be there, weather permitting that is :-)

Dudders 10-09-2011 10:57 AM

Looking forward to tomorrow, will be a welcome break from a tough week.

As I've had a lot on this week before we race we'll need to re lay the track and also push the mower around a few times - I've simply not had the time to get track side.

Also if anyone has a small spark plug extraction tool can they bring it along? The gennie died last time so it's time for a clean out.

Thanks in advance.

andyroooo 10-09-2011 11:16 AM

What size is the spark plug? I am just going into work, will grab one from my toolbox while I'm there!

Dudders 10-09-2011 11:19 AM

It's small, kind of lawmowery! It's recessed....

Helping aren't! Lol

Dr_UpGrade 10-09-2011 01:36 PM

Soz can't make it tomorrow guys, doing teh supporter role for my wife's comp... We'll be down in kent...

Have fun!

imull 10-09-2011 04:13 PM

I'll bring my plug extractor as I'll have my gene with me

See you there in a bit then :)

Dudders 11-09-2011 02:55 PM

Many thanks to all those who braved the weather this morning, turned into a really fun event with some close racing and plenty of tool action on the novices cars. Well done all , nice way to end the season :D

AshleyBanks 11-09-2011 03:29 PM

Hiya all was good to meet you all today thanks for all the advice. I got home and whilst watching the Grand Prix done a little more research and got a little too excited and have ordered a new Mud Monkey from Apex. As per recommendations I ordered the RTR kit and with the brushless motor. So hope to see you all at the next meet which sounds like it will be inside.
Do you think I should have ordered some spares?
I read a lot of posts on sticks vs wheels most people say it is whatever you are used to so am happy enough with the wheel that comes with the kit. I'm sure it is different to Playstation anyway.

Ashley.

Dudders 11-09-2011 03:42 PM

If it were me I would order a set of wishbones front and rear as well as the items that hold the wish bones on. Pop a post in the Annsman section and ask what the items are that go

Deano577 11-09-2011 08:27 PM

Have you got any pics from your meeting I bet it was a mud fest???

dobber 11-09-2011 08:58 PM

Neil, are you going to put the lap times etc on the SHRCCC website?

Much enjoyed the racing today even if it did get muddy as hell. I've just finished cleaning it ready for indoors! :)

Will do when I get 5 mate.

Mud wasnt too bad at all TBH, only bad for maybe 5 mins after each rain storm :woot: being peat it drys so quickly.

dobber 11-09-2011 09:23 PM

Peat you say. I'll have to sweep up my garage floor and spread the contents on my lawn :)
