Are the dates for the regionals going to be released after the AGM on the 17th of March?

The dates are out for the mid west region so wondering whether to enter that region, as i've got to start booking holidays for over the summer in the next couple of weeks, so i need to know which weekends i'm going to be racing on ;)

Lee 27-02-2008 09:10 AM

Dont forget the F2`s and the F345`s they are ace weekends!!

Lee, i am new to off-road racing.....could you enlighten me as to what these are and when :)

Lee 27-02-2008 10:01 AM

The F2`s is the regional finals where the top 10 (i think) in the region excluding the F1 drivers go head to head with the other regions at 1 track at the end of the summer, its a great weekend and the regions usually get more than the 10 originally allocated.

The F345`s is for the 5 top F3, F4 and F5 drivers in each region, again an awesome weekend and this meeting has the feel of a national for those who cant always get into them.

Again this is late summer maybe september

Kecky 27-02-2008 10:51 AM

Sounds good to me, gives you something to aim for

Lee 27-02-2008 11:30 AM

CBRDEAN0 28-04-2008 08:35 PM

What are the times for this sunday's meet at Bury ?

Booking in, practice & racing.

burgie 29-04-2008 09:31 AM

according to the bury metro website's calendar it's a 10'o clock start, but that doens't mention if it's booking in at 10 or racing at 10, i would suggest it's booking-in at 10:00.

seek and you will find.....

:o

PaulRotheram 02-05-2008 06:58 PM

any 'solid' information regarding wether it is 10 oclock booking in or 10 oclock arrival? can any one from bury please confirm?

DanW 02-05-2008 07:49 PM

Quite alot of electrical failures were occuring, look closer at the results and you'l see even move didn't finish the race.

The track was great, I enjoyed that, but I didn't enjoy being told the finals were cancelled, then 15 minutes later being told they were back on. To top that off my car packed in due to water after a few warm up laps before the final (even while being waterproofed), so my 3rd qualifier position was wasted.

bigred5765 05-05-2008 06:30 PM

matty 2nd over all was down the pan as well bummer

Fiddybux 06-05-2008 07:38 AM

Sorry to hear that Paul.

Bury seem to cancel the final quite often in my experience - maybe it's just the time of year (April / May) when the initial rounds of the regionals held and so heavy rain is often very likely.

bigred5765 06-05-2008 09:51 PM

awsome job on the bury metro pics jimmy
this is my fav

Stu 07-05-2008 07:57 PM

I did set off to race on Sunday, but on the journey there I found the Haslingdon bypass and the motorway shut (fatal crash apparantly - :(). I got very, very lost trying to get round, so decided to go back home as I was late and the rain was coming down in stair-rods (and bannister-rails).
