new CAT XLS black dish wheels from JC Racing
 

I contacted John at JC Racing Products to ask if they could make some black dish wheels for the Cat / XLS / Procat (currently they only make the spoke wheels) and he would like to know how much demand there might be.

Just to remind you how cool the black dish wheels look, here's Jason's XLS racer with similar black dish wheels by Yokomo (thank for the pic Jason!)

As you know, the more interest we show the more likely it is to happen. I will order at least two sets. Please post how many sets you would like. It's just to guage interest at this stage, not a commitment to order.

In answer to your question - I expect John will use a similar mould so they will be 2.2" wheels to fit modern tyres (like their current spoked rims for the Cat)

Just a quick update about the vintage Schumacher dish wheels from JC Racing...

I emailed John and he said they expect to start working on this some time towards the end of October.

John at JC Racing has finished moulding the new dish wheels and they are for sale on eBay in white and yellow. Black always gets moulded last so that will follow soon. Thanks for the great work... can't wait to get a set fitted!

Oh yes, John is moulding them in black this week!

I just received a new set of black dish wheels from JC Racing.

I'll have to get some silver mini-spikes on them for the next Winter Series.
