On the club champs thread below it says Sat /Sun..

Does anyone know who to contact to find out exactly...It's a way for us to travel if the days are wrong..

Masami 15-08-2011 08:59 PM

Spoke with the chairman today and can confirm its saturday / sunday, I have updated the website and facebook site accordingly.

My apologies for any inconvenience around this mis-communication.

aaron1974 15-08-2011 08:59 PM

I'm pretty sure it's Saturday and Sunday... It was last year, don't forget camping is thoroughly encouraged along with drinking even if you only live round the corner !

The Chef 15-08-2011 09:44 PM

Is it a full weekend or is it 4wd sat and 2wd sunday of vice versa? Trying to talk the wife into a weekend away;)

aaron1974 16-08-2011 07:04 AM

It's all classes (2wd, 4wd & SC) over both days, open practice on Saturday then 3 rounds of qualifiers, three more qualifiers on Sunday and then 2 or 3 finals depending on numbers I think ?

brooky 16-08-2011 08:17 PM

sat sun . 3 rounds sat from 3ish and 3 on sunday followed with 3 finals for all (depeneds on numbers turning up) i will try and put a time for gates open soon .:thumbsup:campers welcome ,and as aaron quoeted 2wd 4wd and sc and if enough turn up on road

Adam F 18-08-2011 02:31 PM

Would it be ok to miss out the Saturday and just do the qualifiers/finals on the Sunday? (2 or 4wd)

Cant get a weekend pass unfortunately...

aaron1974 18-08-2011 02:34 PM

Yep it's 3 from 6 qualifiers... so you'll just have to count all 3 from Sunday and hope you don't make too many mistakes :(.

The Chef 18-08-2011 11:29 PM

Nearly got a weekend pass:) Is there a travel lodge or premier inn? Some where clean and cheap with disabled access? And close?

Does any one have a post code?

The Chef 20-08-2011 09:41 AM

The Chef 20-08-2011 05:31 PM

How many people are you expecting next weekend?

dbizzle5 20-08-2011 08:40 PM

No idea on numbers yet as were not having pre booking but ive had a lot of people pm me saying there coming from other areas aswell as our local club members so reckon it should be around 50 to 60 but thats a pure estimate!

The Chef 22-08-2011 08:48 AM

What is the average level of driver that you expect? I would class myself as a little better than Novice will that be acceptable for the weekend? I assume that there will be a range of abilities?

shark 22-08-2011 08:56 AM

You,ll be fine mate , no worries .

The Chef 22-08-2011 09:29 PM

Just booking hotel.

dbizzle5 22-08-2011 09:31 PM

sweet. where you staying? Is camping not an option?

The Chef 22-08-2011 09:55 PM

I'd we'd love to camp but my wife is disabled so camping is out of the question.

Trying to find a dog friendly hotel.

working on it.

/tobys 23-08-2011 07:13 AM

Looking forward to this

Whats the race fee?

Shame the weather is looking ropey at the moment...

dbizzle5 23-08-2011 09:37 AM

Race fees are normal. £6 members or £10 for non members. Please note that as it is the Club championship trophies are awarded for the top 3 club members in the finals so if you want to be in for a shout of a trophy you will need to join the club on the day.

Weather will be fine Toby, Ive just had a chat with the big man upstairs and he says he'll clear it for us.

aaron1974 23-08-2011 11:49 AM

dbizzle5 23-08-2011 12:12 PM

Not sure of names pal but a few have asked if they can camp Friday so we can leave the track out from Friday night which is a bonus:thumbsup:

Robbiejuk 23-08-2011 12:14 PM

I will be there this weekend  Now able to do both days thanks to the future mrs Jaques doing overtime on saturday.

The Chef 23-08-2011 12:16 PM

oh well we'll be there. Is there any racing friday night?

johnni boi 23-08-2011 02:42 PM

Yepp, racing friday night :thumbsup::thumbsup:

The Chef 23-08-2011 02:45 PM

What time from till? Is the track lit? is it the same track as the sat/sun meet?

dbizzle5 23-08-2011 03:08 PM

Track will be down by 5.00pm maybe earlier Friday. I shall be there from 3ish. Racing starts around 6.30pm till its too dark. If your going to arrive later than that chef you can just book in when you get here and race what you can. Its all very relaxed on a friday night. Not sure if it will be the same track yet. Depends how it goes Friday nite. If people like we can keep it. If not we'll change it.

To Rob, Nice one dude! Arent they lovely when they have to work!!! lol

The Chef 23-08-2011 04:56 PM

They cocked the booking :( Staying at the gateway now. Is the track easy to find?
