DEX210 Pre-orders
 

All,

So where do I pre-order a DEX210?

I am new to Durango so will need to order wheels, springs etc at the same time as well as some spares and a gear diff.

Are there any deals to be had at certain shops, or is everyone offering the car and spares at the same price? To stop blatant advertising I guess if anyone has advise it may be best to PM it to me.....

No Problem in Germany every TD Dealer accept it........

I'm doing a pre-order, the spares list will be sent out tonight. If yo order a kit then I offer a 5% discount on pre-order spares.

We're taking pre-orders at rcLazy too, and for spares as well.

have not seen any front wheels yet on the spares lists any one now what fitment they are going to be.

Will the new kit come with body shell and a front and rear set of wheels?

of course it will come with a body shell ?

No it will come without rims, chassi plate, a-arms and shoch towers. That is all optional ;)

Front wheels are a metric bearing fitment, not common with any other cars.

Durango are aiming to ship all spares at the same time as the car kits.

Any updates on when this is going to be released? Not heard a dicky-bird!

No news from Durango yet. The shops will be given just over a weeks notice of the release date.

I can't work with this. I have loads of shiny new bling and can't use any of it until this arrives!

However both are USA so could be later than the UK for shipping reasons?

Anyone got any idea what supply is going to be like after the initial batch?

Are we going to see the first batch sell out in days (?) then a three month wait for the next, or will there be a steady supply?

Looking to buy early next year, to get it built and ready for the outdoor season. And don't want to come unstuck having to wait months for one!!

i would think kits would be fine for stock its the spares that might run dry

It doe'snt make any differance wether it be 2 weeks or 2 months (hopefully not but you never know) you get it when you get it simples

They will be out soon I'm sure.

Wasn't there something about patents on the 210? Maybe they are waiting for them to be sorted before release.

Any fresh news about the release of this great machine?

TD have never actually said there's a V3 version of the DEX410 coming out. I'm pretty sure it a was a thread you started...

Unlikely, the British/US and SEA patent offices do not respond quickly, and the patent is valid from the file date, which they have done already, therefore it is highly unlikely to be anything to do with the release date...

I was actually surprised they only mention patent in the UK, which i think cover you for Europe if pursue it, but I would expect the US to be filed, also i could not find the patent on the searches i did on the published number... should at least get a patent header by now...(only out of curiosity)

wonder if they are holding back the dex210 till the dex410 is ready so they can be released at the same time.

It's got to be right, in the competitive world these days manufacturers need to be spot on with QC etc. etc. The first release of their 410 took a bit of a hit, but they've worked to get it right from day one.

I am thinking of pre ordering a 210 and it will be my first Durango, what spares would you advise to get at the same time?
