New LMR product
|
1) New rear wing mounts as kit ones are rubbish
2) Thicker front shock tower Possibly.... Time to drop on to Lee's website :) |
Gear diff in the back?
Southport National btw - I'll be over to pap his car when he's not looking |
I'm not sure about the gear diffs, hopefully Lee is as we all want to see them in action.
On the down side if the diffs are amazing them i'll have to some ordered. |

it's not like a new car or anything |
The pic of the Geardiff is not from Lee's car but of the one from Suzukis 511 I guess from the tag on Facebook. Hope Lee will report only good things about it;).

Pics are from LMR facebook.
Lee will probably show it soon. It is not a gear diff. Its a LMR product... |

Gear diff is something I am hoping IS a big deal for me, I am totally incapable of setting ball diffs and tend to take a few runs to get them right...I'm hoping gear diff would be more consistent! |

They are re-releasing the 511 with gear diffs

So will Lee be running a 511 with gear diffs at the euros or the more aggressive 502? Lee will be getting another order for LMR products :) |

I don't think so but I'm not in the know. I've seen a post on here with a link to website advertising a new 511 with gear diffs.
|
I am usually right when it comes to guessing these thing so I say gray ballcups. Same type of damper housings as on the 201. Do not know what they are called. Titanium rods. Perhaps a chassis without the slots for cells and a diff cover borrowed from Fredrik;). The tray moved back by a little so the cells clear the centre bulk.
Just pure speculation. Wrong thread for this tough. Sorry Lee. |
Good to hear if it is true, I've just bought a 511 but I'm going to stick with it for a while, if it was good enough for LM this year it will be good enough for me next year!
|
I think the sales recently are soured on by the fact that the second hand price will come down once the kit has been released.

I've got two top spec 511's, there won't be that much between them and I'll buy a pair of gear diffs to put in them.
I may be wrong but I think that Tamiya have developed a gear diff so the car appeals more to clay racers. |
just put the new LMR part on them and they will look real sexy. Had a sneaky preview and it looks niiiiice!!!

Note to self must resist more LMR bling..... We'll apart from the new product I will be having a couple of them! |
the servo tape is amazing isnt it!
|
Is the new part blue ?
|
I think: improved wing mounts:thumbsup:
|
So, what do you think of Lees new product? Surely someone must have seen it last weekend?;)
|
I have LMR Fan guards and servo tape. The Servo tape looks like the 3M tape put on smaller rolls. if it is good work cos who wants 33m of servo tape when you can buy a couple at a time, also I think that RC Lazy sell the same stuff in there branded bags. The Little fan guard is the dogs doodars once I open'd out the holes only very slightly but it has saved my fragile little fan I'd do one every other meet before I haven't broken one for weeks.
Top man Lee. |
well its not a wing mount guys! ;)
muhahaha...although it was on display at southport....but not used |

Unfortunately I was unable to make southport, so would like to have the heads up would be great, as we are getting a group of loyal Tamiya drivers at torch, which is all good in my opinion  Cheers |
oooo, you tease!
|
I thought it was clear to see...
