Meeting details for the 28th August:

Gates will open at 9.00am and booking in will close at 9.30am. Racing will be from 9.45am with a practice session in heat groups (no open practice).

Food wagon will be on site and toilets will be open.

Jnr Heat

We'll get in 4 heats and 2/3 leg finals for all (Jnr's 1 x Final).

Food Van on Site from early doors

NO BBQ's on SITE.

Looks like the track is creeping further and further up the field, have to move race control soon. :lol:

Just trying to keep grass on the racing lines..... bottom corner is trollied so wanted to avoid it.....

Silly question maybe, but as newbies, I assume that 'next meet on 28th'='no meet this Tuesday' [23rd?!

Alas not, been giving the track a few weeks rest. We'll be doing something on the 30th though, just not sure if a meeting or open practice as its dark at 8.00 :thumbdown:. All dates on the website :thumbsup:

Hi, looking to come along on Sunday with my son. It'll be first time at this track, will my son be able to race his short course truck, i have 2wd buggy.

As TORCH is closed this weekend, I will be coming if I can as I missed the summer series last weekend....

Twiglet, I'd PM or email Dudders about the short course just to be sure...

We'll 100% be running 2 and 4wd buggy's, not surde on the Short Course though. Depends if more turn up on the day.....

Depending on his ability he might be able to run it in the novice class or a 2/4wd heat, but I'd need to see him race it first, to make sure there's not too much carnige!... SC trucks a bit stronger than buggy's! :thumbsup:

Thanks to everyone at the club for making us and our boys so very welcome! ESP for help, mechanical advice and repairs! Even though we came away needing repairs & upgrades (£) we all had a great time! And the bacon butties were excellent! Served up with lovely smiles and chat!:thumbsup: keep up the good work!

top day again, with the rain 'adding' to the mix of the ever changing track conditions... Some superb close racing for me with Dave, Ian and Adam... Just gottan tighten it up a bit and nail that 12+lapper!!!

Thanks all for today, really enjoyed it, I was really happy getting 6th in the A Final on my two runs before I pulled out after qualifying :thumbsup:.

Fairly pleased with my first outing there with the 511.

Just a bit disappointed with some of my random errors.

Our track does seem to punish the smallest simplest mistakes (I know I make far too many of them myself!).. Glad you had a good time, and yes the interclub event sounds like a fun idea to me...

No more than TORCH. High grip also catches people out, on the edge again but in a diff way. I did enjoy the fact that I wasn't having to try and loose traction etc.

Four wheel power sliding was fun too

yeah, I can see that must have its own problems associated with it... Back to the drawing board for me, when I come down then! Although sorry, can't make the 25th..

thanks for a good days racing neil took me allday to get to grips with racing on grass enjoyed it which is the main thing see you at torch for the all dayer :thumbsup:
