Thanks for letting us know, but that informations has been released more than a couple of weeks ago and quite a few are already running them in cars, so far no issues, mines still in one piece, lets hope it stays that way, of more interest would be the new slipper pad discs that maybe out soon.

ConceptRacing 25-07-2011 01:41 PM

Hi Eric these have already been tried and tested by the UK racing team as posted before they are available at Ansmann racing UK part number is AR28T

ConceptRacing 25-07-2011 02:22 PM

Sorry, just had the sales rep here and he knew nothing about them, I must have missed the earlier post about them or misunderstood it.

JezT 25-07-2011 02:52 PM

just asked the rep about these and he knows nothing about them, he is finding out for me, hopefully they will be available soon.

lordnikon 25-07-2011 03:26 PM

Is it right that you need 2 of these to fit into the gearbox ??

As i said in my first post they are available now!!

Right, ansmann have changed there tune a couple of times with these.

I found these on ansmanns site about three weeks ago,( posted thred in this section at the time) so asked my LHS to put some on order and gave them the part No. when shop 1st spoke to ansmann they were told the part was being made by RW and would be avalable within the next few days:thumbsup:, week later nothing, so shop spoke to RW who would neather conferm nor deny they were making them Hmmmm:confused:, so asked the shop owner to be frank with ansmann and find out when we were going to see any of the nylon idlers, or for that matter restock the alloy ones, he was then told 2 poss 4 weeks!!

so I order myself a load of team C ones to keep me on track.

I do hate changing storys from importers etc, if you have not got it, just tell us:eh?:

Only for the Mad Monkey, yes for Mad Rat you only need one ;)

Royal Male 25-07-2011 06:05 PM

worth getting one for my Core then?

Someone mentioned new slipper plates? Is that because everyone has the same problem of a very loose slipper....mine is as tight as it can go with a washer added on and it still slips...

MK Racing 25-07-2011 06:12 PM

I think the ansmann ones have been made by rw racing, I have also had some made by rw & they will hopefully arrive tomorrow.

Didn't your CORE come with the alloy idle gear?? As that's what was in my CORE ;)

Think it's something to do with the pads?? As they slip too much which then generates heat through the top layshaft, which then softens the idle (STD) gear and it strips ;)

Royal Male 25-07-2011 07:47 PM

cant remember the material of my idler....probably is ally

any fix for the slipping slipper? I've heard mixed feelings of roughing the surface with fine wet and dry.......

ConceptRacing 25-07-2011 08:39 PM

Managed to change my order for the white pom versions and have the new ones coming instead, should have 6 in stock by thursday, I will get one fitted for the Oople event and see if it lasts the weekend,
Sorry if we dont always believe delivery dates as we have been let down more than a few times and it kind of gets you down when you can get them from abroad weeks if not months before they are available here, I know there loads of factors that will slow down new parts into this country but surely there must be a process in place to get them here a bit quicker.

MK Racing 26-07-2011 10:27 AM

Just received my RW delivery, I now have stock of the 28T gears, they come in a pack of 2 for £10.50
