DBoots GP - Bank Holiday August

Hi Guys

Hinckley Remote Control Car Club (HRCCC) in conjunction with DBoots and Durango are pleased to announce the first ever DBoots GP to be held at Hinckley's new outdoor grass track over the August Bank Holiday weekend 28th-29th August 2011.

The meeting is for 2wd and 4wd buggies and both claases will race on the same day. There will be 4 rounds of 5 minute controlled practice followed by a re-sort and then 2 rounds of qualifying on the Sunday. Monday will see 3 rounds of Qualifying and 3 finals for all drivers! Trophies will be presented for the top 3 in all finals and TQ in each class.

Control tyres are the DBoots Multibyte #DB1001RA for rear axle in both classes. Front tyres are #DB10012A and #DB10014A and you can use 2wd on 4wd and vice versa. Number of sets is open.

The entry fee is £20 and you get a free set of controlled tyres front and rear included in the price! You may race both classes however we would like you to specify which is your preferred class as we may have to limit entries if we get over subscribed.

We also have a very special offer to encourage juniors to race, free entry and tyres for the first 20 juniors to enter this meeting!!! Trophies will be awarded for the TQ junior in both classes and top 3 in each class. Juniors must be 16 or under on the 1st January 2012.

Camping is available for the weekend for £5 a tent. We will have a BBQ and toilets/food available on both days.

We have to limit this event to 100 drivers so please book in early to avoid disappointment

Entry Forms can be downloaded on the HRCCC website in the forum section. http://www.hinckleyrccc.co.uk

Hinckley's track is located at postcode LE10 3DR, Hinckley Rugby Club, Hinckley, Leicestershire.

Entry deadline is 20th August 2011. There will be no racing on the 27th August but camping in the evening will be available.

Thanks
Ben

And as far as I know you need to be there for both days otherwise you will miss out on practice and 2 rounds of qualifying.

£20 still....not bad for a set of tyres and a full race day!

Ben Cosgrove 26-08-2011 10:10 AM

with 2 rounds to count and then 3 finals you get 1 effective practice run Monday morning and then a normal race day

If you anybody is thinking of only doing monday then I need to know before hand if poss.

You will be in bottom heat though as you will miss the seeding on Sunday!
